TEDxYouth@TampaBay was pleased to be able to offer an afternoon “Taste of TED” , with a free, Livestream screening of TEDGlobal 2011.
From the secrets of the biological processes that take place in our body, to the cultural
constructs that take place in our society; from the technologies and resources that make life possible and enjoyable, to the themes that define our humanity — or threaten it: TEDGlobal 2011 is a celebration of life, in all its forms.
During four days, with more than 50 speakers and performers from all over the world, in the energizing city of Edinburgh, TED Global 2011 will look at who we are, what we do, and how we relate to each other and to other living organisms., analyzing the resources, technologies and skills that make life possible and keep it going — and the many things that make it interesting, enjoyable and worthwhile. The event will explore themes that are basic to our humanity, and those that threaten it.
TEDxYouth@TampaBay enjoyed being able to offer a few hours of live, and freshly recorded TED Talks on the third day of this wonderful event at St. Petersburg College- Seminole Campus, in their beautiful Digitorium, where we’ll be holding TEDxYouth@TampaBay 2011 in November.
