TEDxYouth@TampaBay 2012 – An Opportunity to Listen, and to Act!

Debra Campbell, of Forward Thinking Initiatives, one our TEDxYouth@TampaBay planning team members.

We visited Carrollwood Cultural Center today, for a little advanced planning.

Event goers will be doing more than sitting and listening to our great presenters – they’ll be able to actively connect with one another artistically, as well as conversationally. TEDxYouth@TampaBay 2012 planning team member Deb Campbell, of Forward Thinking Initiatives, is heading up the collaborative art and creative expression portion of our TEDxYouth event.

“I thought it would be a good idea to harness the passion and creative juices inspired by our amazing, young TEDx speakers and pass the creative baton to the audience. I hope our activities will challenge folks to become a part of solving issues in the Tampa Bay community,” says Campbell.

“The message is “You can be an audience participant for just so long. Now, it’s your turn to think about the Big Ideas and how you can impact them.””
