9 Yr Old Sarasota Playwright Youngest Winner of Hollywood Theater Festival

 9 year old Spencer Emerson Opal-Levine, a  3rd grader from Pine View School in Sarasota, has just been recognized as the youngest student ever to win the Blank Theatre’s Young Playwrights Festival in Hollywood, CA, reports the Sarasota Herald Tribune.

His play “Coffee Talk,” the story of a coffee bean in a coffee house that wants to be something different – was a winner in last year’s FST Young Playwrights Festival, and is one of the 12 winners of the Blank Theatre’s Young Playwrights Festival this year.
