At TEDxYouthDay events around the world, young people will be sharing live their news, reflections, quotes and impressions of this three-day event via Twitter, Facebook, and other online media platforms. These official TEDxYouthDay reporters — some of whom will be online and at viewing parties – will help to augment the impact of this global event in their community, and around the world.
TEDxYouth@TampaBay 2011 is delighted to introduce the two Official TEDxYouth Day reporters covering our event in Seminole.
Will, at age 9, is a veteran TEDster who can rattle off favorite TED Talks with ease. He plays the violin in a youth orchestra, and also plays the piano. He enjoys making stop-motion animation videos, building with LEGOs and is currently learning to speak Mandarin.
You can follow him the day of the event via Twitter: @TheWelshGreen
Meghan Kelley is 17, and helped out at TEDxYouth@TampaBay 2010 last year. Her interests are deep and far reaching, ranging, including psychology, music, horror movies, guitar playing, photography, and art.
You can follow Meghan on Twitter @ MeghanKelley94 .
We’re grateful to these two great Youth Reporters for sharing their time, insights and voice with us at TEDxYouth@TampaBay 2011!
