Andrea Willingham is a junior at Eckerd College where she’s majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Anthropology. She enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and birding, and pretty much anything outdoors. “Combine all this with a love of writing and photography, and you have on your hands someone who is totally fascinated by life. I really can’t get enough of it, and I am ceaselessly amazed around every corner. It is part of this love of life that drove me to follow my dreams and travel halfway across the world earlier this year and live in the UK for nearly 4 months. The experience was nothing short of incredible…”
Theresa Willingham is a professional writer with over 25 years experience, including extensive coverage of education, health and family issues. Her book, the Food Allergy Field Guide: A Lifestyle Manual for Families (Savory Palate, 2006) is in its second printing, and her second book, a Florida environmental health handbook, will be released by University Press of Florida in 2011. She is a long time family advocate, supporting, through her writing and volunteer efforts, parents and children’s rights to direct their own learning, health and well- being. She’s also the principle advocate for her three mostly grown children, who continue to also be among her finest teachers.
